My tastebuds follow my farmer. I'm one to eat in-season and lately I have noticed eggplant at my local Saturday farmers market(Green Market @Piedmont Park). I absolutely love eggplant parmesan but not only is it calorie consuming but time consuming as well. This recipe is Miso-glazed eggplant has me excited about eggplant. Last weekend kicked off Atlanta's season of festivals. This Friday and Saturday marks the Midtown Music Festival at Piedmont Park. Much of the park is closed and traffic will be redirected beginning Thursday. For this reason: All fitness programming will be canceled this Saturday.
The Piedmont Park Conservancy has introduced Yoga as a part of their Fall fitness programming. In honor of our new fitness program the PPC is offering Free Yoga every 4th week of the month. So please come experience flexibility, strength and body awareness, compliments of the Piedmont Park Conservancy. As we transistion into the Fall, it is time to sweat. Spinergy turns to circuits which serve as the perfect way to get in shape pre-holiday season. Circuit training combines weight resistance training and cardiovasular fitness that tones, firms, and aids in weight loss. Repetitions are high and recovery is low.
