Apples & Cheese: a well-balanced and healthy snack.
Lately, I have been receiving a lot of inquiries about diet. What can I do to change my diet? How can I get off this last ten pounds? Looking at food journals many times there is no one thing that stands out as something detrimental to your diet what I often do see is lifestyle changes that need to happen in and effort to improve when and what you eat. For example, if you have an all day meeting that is sure to be equipped with pastries and coffee, bring your water and fruit. If you are meeting a friend for lunch or going out for dinner eat a small healthy snack BEFORE you go. One thing that I've noticed is that those with healthy food habits are generally...healthier. Here are a few tips that my friends and I engage in that keep us healthy and fit.
1.) Before a big night out ...consuming more than our normal intake of water.
2.) Joining friends for lunch...having a well-balanced healthy breakfast.
3.) Going out of town...participating in a total body workout the day before.
4.) Meetings at work...bring healthy snacks that you like.
