Believe it or not I too have had to watch my weight. I was in college and enjoying my life of 25 cent wings on Tuesday night and a fudge brownie sundae on Saturday. Not willing to give up my wings or ice cream I, along with a few other teammates took up the practice of what is now known as pretoxing. If we knew that we were going out to eat, we would spend 4 days prior doing at least 30 additional minutes of cardio a day in preparation. Calorie consumption is cumulative, there is no such thing as a good or bad day. So you can start now in preparation for your weekend to come. Here are things that you can do over the next four days to get that caloric deficit that you will need for the 4th of July weekend:
- 30 minutes extra on the treadmill (4 days).
- A 20 minute morning or evening run (3 days).
- Water please - as your breverage of choice (4 days).
- Finish all food by 7pm (4 days).
Only a four day journey to your guilt-free holiday weekend. You got it!
