The next two weeks is considered by some to be the busiest travel days of the week. Here are a few tips to keep you safe these next couple of days while traveling:
1. Drink Water - It keeps you from overeating when you arrive at your destinations and frequent bathroom breaks keep you moving.
2. Wake up and walk - The roads are always open. Take the time to have a brisk walk in the morning before you start your day of family obligations and food handling. It cuts back on overeating and gets keeps you moving throughout the holidays.
3. Visit a local fitness class - Fitness classes are looking for newcomers to shake it up with. I'm always excited when out-of-towners drop-in. Find a local cardio, yoga or fitness class to crash and bring a family member for a new type of family fun.
